The Painting

Poetry — abstract painting by Charlene Falk

Original painting: 48 × 72 in.

Poetry is a quiet, contemplative figurative painting a seated figure in dark clothing absorbed in a book, half-hidden beside a weathered white pillar in soft, muted tones of beige and gray. Charlene Falk's loose, expressive brushwork captures the stillness of a private moment introspective, tender, and deeply human. This contemporary oil painting brings a calm, literary presence to a modern living room, reading nook, or reflective space. The mood is quiet and introspective.

It is part of Charlene Falk's Poetry series.
