Corten & Stainless Steel
WHERE WE WALK is an experiential art installation that stretches across two city blocks. This public art sculpture encompasses 12 corten steel panels that surround the apartment building, Scottsdale on Main , and a free standing sculpture near the entry way. It is the largest public art sculpture in Scottsdale, AZ.
WHERE WE WALK celebrates the collective human experience of the awe and wonder of our journey on this earth. While we each walk in unique ways, what ties us together is our appreciation of the beauty of nature. Humanity finds itself as dancers in this beautiful, mysterious world which includes us all.
The panels are titled: LAND, FOREST, CANYON, RAIN, DESERT, OCEAN, FLORA, MOONRISE, SUMMIT, SUNRISE, WILDERNESS, AND NIGHT SKY .

The 12 panels depict scenes of the world in which we live. The panels represent experiences of nature common to every human being around the world. They are not specific geographical locations, rather a shared encounter with the mysterious and miraculous world we live.
The main sculpture draws attention to the human dance through generations of time. The circles represent our planet, and the finite moments we are privileged to live on this earth. The figures move with the backdrop of the 12 panel scenes of nature. Their bodies open to the world in which they reside.
